Don't forget to swing hard, in case you hit the ball. ~Woodie Held

And we are at it again:) Last week the kids went to a free summer program and made new friends. Isaac had four baseball games. This week Isaac started Enrichment. He is taking Books and Cooks, Team Sports (a week of football and a week of basketball), design build and sculpt, and my 5 sences. He has been riding the bus (just because he likes to). Chris thinks its strange that Isaac and Zoey spend the day only a few blocks apart from eachother and Isaac takes the bus and Zoey gets a ride from me. It is strange, but makes everyone happy so we just go with it:) Isaac did miss a day due to throwing up on the bus, however. But he is doing great now. Even played baseball in the rain tonight. It is great to watch him! He still needs to work on his skills, but he is so happy to be out there. Most of the time he is ready for the ball and has his glove up and a smile on his face. Its great--even in the rain:)

Pretty sure our trip to Minnesota can't come fast enough. Dates are still not set in stone, as we are still figuring out how and when to get both vehicles to Minnesota. I'll let you know when I know:)

Put your ear down close to your soul and listen hard. ~Anne Sexton

What an amazing weekend!! We were finally busy and hot and social. We had a fabulous thunderstorm last night, but other than that the rain has taken a little rest. Friday I worked at the Rec Center, got my hair done, picked up the kids from their last day of school, sent Zoey to a birthday party in a limo and watched Chris play some softball. Saturday we started a little slow, but went to opening day at the baseball fields, watched Isaac play some baseball, then went to Brad's Grandma's Ranch for a shin dig thingy. There was grilled food, horse shoes, kids playing with horses. We took a tour around the ranch and I totally freaked out on the part I considered to be off roading (the guys of course will tell you that there was a road--I apparently was the only one that couldn't see it:)). We had a bon fire, fireworks and just enjoyed the warm nice night. Sunday the kids both slept until 10am and I let them since summer vacation isn't really a vacation for my kids. But it was nice and hot, so the kids spent some time in the sprinkler. Twister was hilarious!!! She would try to drink out of it, attack it, run through it, drag it around the yard and howl at it. Then in the evening we went to Solem's and enjoyed another perfect evening. The wind wasn't even blowing that night, it was so peaceful. The kids were good and spent their time jumping on the trampoline. It was a little strange--Ike got his glasses stepped on so Monday morning we went to Gillette Optometric and had them fixed. I had four personal training clients and a massage client with no daycare. So the kids came with me in the morning and hung out with the neighbor girls in the afternoon. Anyway, as I am coming home after giving a massage, Chris calls and lets me know that Ike's glasses are broken! I said we already went in this morning and had them fixed. He says no--Twister jumped on Isaac and chewed them or something. So we went back again today. Good thing those glasses are still under warranty!!! But we have a plan of action now for a while anyway. We are working on getting through baseball season. Games this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The kids are going to a summer program for the month of June. I do have to say that Gillette does have the best free programs I have ever seen! And there were so many good ones to choose from too. Of course we cannot wait for our Minnesota vacation!!!

If you are seeking creative ideas, go out walking. Angels whisper to a man when he goes for a walk. ~Raymond Inmon

"Just living is not enough," said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower." ~Hans Christian Anderson

So today is the last day of school! I can't believe it. I now have two grade school children in first and third grade. I actually miss the toddlers, which is strange, cuz their messes are usually a little stinkier, messier and gooeyer. Oh well.

So yesterday I was walking the kids to school and got my pic taken. Wasn't ready, so I am sure it is a miserable picture, but it turns out it is for a good cause. Gillette is trying to initiate a walk your kids to school program (along with some other activities since walking them to school NOW seems a little strange). But it is to fight childhood obesity. I was not a good interveiwee either, but I will post a link to the article on Sunday.

Yesterday Zoey had her kindergarden program. They sang nurserary rhym songs and totally cute! But when it was time to leave, Zoey wanted to stay. How crazy it that?

Super glad to report that the rain has taken a break and the sunshine has shown itself for the last couple of days. Its about 60 degrees and the wind is about 40 mph--back to normal:)
