I finally got my snow day yesterday! It rained on Sunday, which I really don't appreciate the rain as much in the winter as I do in the summer. Especially that first good spring rain--I love it, but in the winter it is just not the same. By Sunday night the winds started to blow and I knew the roads were going to be bad in the morning. It doesn't make me get up any earlier. I refuse to wake up earlier than 5:30am so if weather is bad or what ever else, I am just late for work. We got up and it wasn't exactly pleasant outside. Chris decided to check things out. His truck can make it through anything, right? He was going to call me and let me know if it was OK to travel with the kids or not. Well, he made it up the first hill, helped some folks that were stuck in the snowdrifts and came back home. Now I am not exactly sure what those people were thinking, cuz Chris said the drifts were as tall as the hood of his truck and after seeing all the snow this morning, I believe him. But whatever, I can't say that I haven't needed to get somewhere and attempted drifts much larger than my car. The kids got to have a jammie day and I got some much needed laundry done. I love to sit by our fire and snuggle with my comforter (and possibly watch some sponge bob). Chris did eventually make it to work later on, but I on the other hand only stepped out to let the dog out. Today is still a slow go but a go none-the-less.

Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side & a dark side, and it holds the universe together
Last Friday I took Isaac in to have his speech reassessed. I will not know the results for a while yet, however, it sounds like he is just a little behind still and will thrive with just a little help.
Saturday--I DIDN'T work. It snowed the most beautiful gentle large snowflakes all day. And then huge wind storm that night. It has been cold here ever since, with below zero temperatures. The snow heaps are growing and our driveway is getting narrower.
Sunday we made it to church. I didn't really want to go outside, but everything was good. Later that day we had game night at our house. Two couples and their children. Including my kids we had a 1, 2, 3, 5 and a 10 year old running around. Other than playing ball with the kids, we only ended up playing one game of Scene It--as we were also watching the Packers lose.
I also got a little present this week. Our garage came with a garage door opener, but not a remote clicker. I now have the remote clicker. I no longer need to back my car out, get out of the car to push the button inside the garage and climb back into the car. I am excited about it, but I keep forgetting it is in my car!
I have to admit, I am a little sad about Heath Ledger. He was such a cutie. I didn't watch his latest darker movies (that may have caused his troubles), but I did like some of his other movies. His wife (ex?) is originally from Kalispell. I just hate to see such young kids loose their parents. His daugher is only 2.

Always remember you're unique. Just like everyone else.
So. What's new? Not much really.
I am still working. A lot. We are right back to working events three nights a week including saturdays. On Tuesday, Chris had bowling night, so he dropped the kids off with me. At wrestling. My kids are a hoot! Isaac helps out every chance he gets and I love his help. Plus he looks after his sister some. Mostly he feels that if he has been told not to do something, then by golly they are both not going to be doing it. But it works out. Zoey was a bit of a challenge. She let me know several times that I am not the boss of her. But Sarah at daycare insists she has been behaving very well and not been finding trouble. They both used the dry erase board in my room. Zoey loves to draw very large, very colorful pictures. Isaac drew some too, but I also got him to write -cat, mat, sat, pat and hat. His penmenship is very nice.
The snow is piling up. Everyday just a gentle little snow. Well, I guess with the exception of Tuesday morning. It started to snow just as I was leaving for work. It quickly turned into blizzard like conditions. I kinda wanted to just turn around and call in a snow day. However, by the time I got to Kalispell the snow had stopped. Kalispell didn't get a flake of snow and I don't really think my bosses believed me until patients came in talking about it.
2008 is going to be great so therefore I have started to rearrange my schedule a bit in hopes of keeping up with the regular housework and making sure food is available to Chris and the kiddos. I was so happy, I even made them some chocolate cupcakes. I have yet to start a GOOD work out program, but I might try to sneek in a hot yoga class tonight. Shh. Don't tell anyone cuz I really don't have the time to go. Our wrestlers are at Flathead tonight. The school I was at last year. Flathead's wrestling team is #1 in the state and #13 in the nation, so I will have to go to that tonight also.

Intense love does not measure, it just gives.
I have no new news to blog. But I don't like to go too long without a change on my page. We have finally been getting some snow. It did warm up the other day and some of it melted. Unfortunately, there was an avalanche here on Sunday. It killed two people and they are still searching for 2 more. So don't forget to take your avalanche classes as well as a locator with you if you plan to be in the back country.
Thought for the day:
Do It Anyway
Sign In Mother Teresa's Office
People are unreasonable,
illogical, and self-centered,
LOVE THEM ANYWAY
If you do good, people will
accuse you of selfish,
ulterior motives,
DO GOOD ANYWAY
If you are successful, you win
false friends and true enemies,
SUCCEED ANYWAY
The good you do will
be forgotten tomorrow,
DO GOOD ANYWAY
Honesty and frankness
make you vulnerable,
BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY
What you spent years building
may be destroyed overnight,
BUILD ANYWAY
People really need help but
may attack you if you help them,
HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY
Give the world the best you
have and you'll get kicked
in the teeth,
GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU'VE GOT ANYWAY.

Just some very random info.
Last Saturday it SNOWED!!! It snowed enough that Chris had to plow 3 times in just over a 24 hour period. It was a beautiful snow. Roads were average for snow, but not bad. The kids have been out playing in it. Isaac loves to get all bundled up, any chance he gets to wear his snow pants. Snow angles are good, but the snow is not very sticky so no snowmen just yet. I still haven't got the kids up to Big Mountain just yet either. The kids have decided that icicles are a treat and Zoey feels that climbing the climbing dome in our yard is much more difficult with snow gear on.
Also last Saturday I found TWO new knitting stores. I found a group to knit with on the Saturdays that I don't work and the other store has couches for you to come in and knit any time. They also have free coffee (which would be better if I liked coffee, but its nice and inviting).
